Payment methods: Although card payment is available almost everywhere, club cover charges (at the door) and cloakroom fees can often only be paid in cash (HUF).
Late-night retail alcohol ban: In most inner-city districts on the Pest side (e.g., Districts VI, VII, VIII, IX), local municipal decrees prohibit the sale of alcohol in grocery stores and 24/7 convenience shops after 22:00. After this time, alcohol can only be purchased and consumed at hospitality venues.
Inclusion Rule: The venues included in the map lists have an established presence, fit the category description, and had no credible complaints regarding overpricing (tourist traps) at the time of the last update. The lists do not contain paid placements.(Last updated: August 2026).
